Alumni Band Reunion and section Challenge

Welcome to the 2023 Alumni Band Reunion and Section Challenge. As a new tradition, the alumni members of Alcorn State University’s “Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite” and “Band of Distinction” come together to raise funds for our beloved organization through an Alumni Band Reunion in an effort to bring everyone Back to the Yard during Homecoming.

This year we have a goal of $30,000 to purchase items such as (but not limited to) spats, plumes, auxiliary uniforms, mouthpieces, valve and slide oil, percussion drum heads, paint to line the practice fields, woodwind reeds, sousaphone replacement bits and necks, and etc.
